Roberto received a cervical Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) to treat the chronic pain in his hands that was a result of a chemical burn that he had experienced. A SCS can be used as a therapeutic option for managing pain associated with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). CRPS is a chronic pain condition that usually affects an arm or a leg and is often triggered by an injury or trauma like in Roberto's case.

The SCS allowed him to regain sensations in his hands and to improve his pain. Since then, Roberto has continuously been improving and returned back to his daily life and regular activities.
